As a Chairman of Nagar Prathmik Shikshan Samitee Surat (Municipal School Board, Surat), he has given names to 270 schools run by Surat Municipal Corporation. The Naming Ceremony was performed by the worthy hand of the than Chief Minister and now Prime Minister of India Hon’ble Shri Narendrabhai Modi. Naming of 270 schools at a time, is a record in it self and therefore, Limca Book of Records has taken note of this record in Limca Book of Records, 2011 Dairy. Thus Rupin Patchigar found a place in Limca Book of Records alongwith Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi.

નગર પ્રાથમીક શિક્ષણ સમિતિ સુરત (મ્યુનિસિપલ સ્કૂલ બોર્ડ, સુરત) ના અધ્યક્ષ તરીકે તેમણે સુરત મહાનગરપાલિકા દ્વારા સંચાલિત 270 શાળાઓને નામ આપ્યા છે. નામકરણ વિધિ તત્કાલિન મુખમંત્રીશ્રી અને હવે ભારતના વડા પ્રધાન માનનીય શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીના વરદ હસ્તે કરવામાં આવી હતી. એકસાથે 270 શાળાઓનું નામકરણ એ પોતે એક રેકોર્ડ છે અને તેથી લિમ્કા બુક ઓફ રેકોર્ડ્સે આ રેકોર્ડની નોંધ લિમ્કા બુક ઓફ રેકોર્ડ, 2011 ડાયરીમાં લીધી છે. આમ, માનનીય વડાપ્રધાન શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીની સાથે રૂપીન પચ્ચીગરને લિમ્કા બુક ઓફ રેકોર્ડ્સમાં સ્થાન મળ્યું છે.

As a Chairman of Sarvajanik Education Society which runs 15 colleges, 19 schools and 2 research institutes, he has started Evening Commerce College in Campus of Sir K. P. College of Commerce in 2008. This is the only Evening College of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. Thus Rupin has set a new trend in University Education by establishing Evening Commerce College in South Gujarat.

સાર્વજનિક એજ્યુકેશન સોસાયટીના અધ્યક્ષ તરીકે જે 15 કોલેજો, 19 શાળાઓ અને 2 સંશોધન સંસ્થાઓ ચલાવે છે, તેમણે 2008માં સર કેપી કોલેજ ઓફ કોમર્સના કેમ્પસમાં ઈવનિંગ કોમર્સ કોલેજ શરૂ કરી છે. વીર નર્મદ દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટીની આ એકમાત્ર ઈવનિંગ કોલેજ છે. આમ દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં ઇવનિંગ કોમર્સ કોલેજની સ્થાપના કરીને રૂપીને યુનિવર્સિટી એજ્યુકેશનમાં નવો ટ્રેન્ડ સેટ કર્યો છે.

Divya Bhaskar Daily News Paper published the book namely ‘Gujarat 100 Power List’ and included the name of Rupin in 100 Powerful Persons of the Gujarat State. Divya Bhaskar felicitated him as one of the 100 ‘Samarth Gujarati’ at Ahmedabad.

"સંસ્કાર ભારતી" ગુજરાત પ્રાંત દ્વારા 'સંસ્કાર વિભૂષણ એવોર્ડ' અને 'સંસ્કાર ભારતી એવોર્ડ' ગુજરાતના રાજ્યપાલ માનનીય ઓ.પી. કોહલીજીના વરદ હસ્તે નાટ્ય પ્રવૃત્તિની સંવર્ધના કરવામાં તેમના યોગદાન બદલ એનાયત થયો.
